Carmelo "Snow" Sigona
New Jersey native Carmelo "Snow" Sigona began his artistic journey as a student and creator of graffiti and street art in the late 1970's. Born and raised in the greater NYC area, SNOW now has an immense and prolific body of work that spans four decades. Snow established his name and distinct style through constant innovation and pushing the limits of his versatility and imagination.
The 1990's were the catalyst for many of Snow's famous and (infamous) creative exploits. During this extremely active decade, Snow joined several creative teams and projects that would help to spark his career. He became a member of the Bronx-based, internationally renowned FX Crew, an all-star squad of elite graffiti artists. Together they created some of the most distinguished mural installations in the history of the graffiti and urban art scenes. Snow was also recruited to become a part of the creative team of artists and designers at McFarlane Toys. This gave Snow great industry insight and experience. His years there were spent studying set design, model making, fabrication, and prototyping. He traveled with Todd as a lead artist and also examined his licensing and marketing strategies. This, along with Snow's growing notoriety in the Hip Hop community, opened the door for many new opportunities, specifically in the music and entertainment industry. He also spent several years in marketing for the Fortune 500 corporation: Dun and Bradstreet.
The combination of marketing and licensing would prove to be invaluable assets, which combined with Snow's growing artistic and creative repository, would usher in an even stronger future for the prolific artist. Alchemizing his experiences, Snow would become a highly sought after artist and creative entity across the globe.
